Hi, I’m Annie. I’m an artist living in the foothills near Golden, Colorado, where real life looks like watercolor palettes, half-folded laundry, homeschool projects, school drop-offs, community events, and feeding whichever kids (mine or borrowed) happen to be hungry. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I paint —because it grounds me, slows me down, and reminds me to notice the small wild details of being alive.

I’ve always been fascinated by how life works and how beauty shows up in unexpected places. I studied botany, ecology, and art, which is really just another way of saying:

I’m curious, observant,

and endlessly inspired by the natural world.

Watercolor is where my creativity and intuition get to meet. My process feels a little like meditation and a little like wandering a trail without a map—slow, layered, and full of surprises.

Outside the studio, you’ll find me raising teens, wrangling chickens, walking our dogs, feeding the cats, hosting neighborhood events, or volunteering with the Evergreen Mountain Area Historical Society. I love sewing projects that take longer than expected, gardens that grow a little wild, and community spaces where people show up as themselves.

If something you see sparks an idea or feels like it belongs in your life—reach out.

Art becomes more interesting once it leaves the studio and starts living with people.
